Israel Deputy Prime Minister Haim Ramon
Tonight, I'll be up at the big New York confab of the Israel Policy Forum titled "Two States: A Global Imperative" and hanging out with some interesting folks -- including Israel Deputy Prime Minister Haim Ramon and former Deputy Defense Minister and Knesset Member Ephraim Sneh.
Haim Ramon is the key, behind-the-scenes architect of the Kadima Party and is a brilliant political animal. Sneh is one tough general who, like Ramon, is completely committed to a two-state Israel-Palestine outcome in the near term.

Steve, just out of curiousity, do you think Ramon and Sneh would be meeting with you if you were openly critical of AIPAC in your commentary at TWN?
Yes, they are both wonderful guys. Israel is full of wonderful people....I guess nobody is responsible for their brutal occupation. As Rummy would say, "Stuff happens."
Steve,
Just as an FYI and FWIW,
If you put together or involved with any events in the NYC area--and have a couple extra seats for thoughtful participants, as you recently & occasionally mention--give us a heads up.
I'd go out of my way to make it.
Thx

The question for these two is exactly what borders, including Isr's "Security Fence" they see in a Two State Solution?
The "Security Fence" was built to specifically take in areas with the most Palestine water wells and sources that are now used exclusively for Israelis. They willing to give that back?
Personally I think it is time to arrest every official that sets foot out of Israel for war crimes. Maybe it would speed up this 60 year old "peace process" if they couldn't stray from their own cage.
