He's going to take the South, Feb. 5 and from his showing in Iowa he stands a good chance of marching through the mid west. If he can do that and there is a big enough group fighting over the rest of the country, he is in. He has as good a chance as any one in the repub. race. There are a lot of working class republicans out there who are very pissed about their government. Huckabee is the only repub. addressing their concerns and being Christian doesn't bother them a bit.

Sorry, I think that Max Blumenthal video is tasteless.

Huckabee is a theocrat and he ought to be exposed as such, but that video is a literally gross way of making the point.

Tasteless and gross are about the best adjectives I can come up with here. That and whatever the antonym of "classy" is.

Well I didn't need to see this...I have already been thru all Huckabee's positions over at his web site and I am not for him based just on his policies.
Just watching him I don't see him as completely religiously "evil"...he strikes me as someone who "thinks" he knows what is right but when confronted say, with having to kill his son to prove his loyalty to God...he might finch.

Second, - Jeshua ben Joseph was not a fundamentalist. His teaching and way were based on unconditional peace tolerance, and love, and there is no conditions in the unconditional part. He also spoke passionately against and was vehemently opposed to the worship of wealth and money.

I've got to agree that this video seems tasteless to me. While I'm also opposed to Huckabee's views, this video, from its manipulative, melodramatic scoring to its questionable captions makes me more frustrated with its authors than with Huckabee. I'm mildly surprised to see it posted here.

I agree with several others about the tastelessness of this video. Blumenthal had produced some informative and effective pieces. This is not one of them. Connecting Huckabee's words with these images undercuts Blumenthal's point IMO. How is this an exposé? Why link to this to piece to support your dislike of Huckabee?

This video really looks to be a propaganda piece.

It's purpose is less to inform than to incite emotion and associate that emotion with Huckabee.

Steve, I'm curious what language exactly put you over the edge. I'm an independent, non-religious voter. I try to keep an open mind - certainly never judge just by party affiliation, as I've seen corruption first-hand - by both parties.

I tend to be averse to religious talk by any candidate ... I wish *someone* would stand up for Reason ...

But, I see that kind of religious talk from most every candidate... Hillary brings up her faith in disturbing ways ...

I find Huckabee's religious talk disturbing, but there are many many other qualities I like about him. His current emphasis on religion is no-doubt because he's looking to tap in to religious voters during the primary.
