Steve Clemons - Open Up Exchange and Travel With Cuba

On Day One, the next president needs to take stock of how eroded and degraded our foreign policy position is with much of the world. One of the lowest hanging fruit opportunities to improve our foreign policy portfolio is to use people-to-people exchange, cultural exchange, and relaxed travel allowances to open up our relationship with Cuba.

If any of you have any thoughts on what a quick fix might be, let me know.

Thanks.

I always right-click to open the comments in a new window. Otherwise, I get nothing.

This may be because my Java is installed incorrectly.

Or it may not.

Steve:

Comments appear to work when right-clicking on the comments link to open it in a new tab or window. When just clicking on the link (left-clicking) there is no response in Firefox or Internet Explorer (5:50 EST, Jan. 31). I would have your web people take another look. (Technical comment: The JavaScript function "OpenComments" doesn't seem to appear in the page source.)

Just worked fine for me. But, a suggestion:

Have the "Comments(n)" links go to the individual entry archive (permalink) page for an entry and jump down to the comment section. This way you also save a lot on server load since it's not calling mt-comments.cgi everytime someone views the comments. This is how the latest versions of MT work in their default templates.

Hi Steve, I seen the errors, it seems like "MySQL" errors, this would be your website connecting to your database on the server error, it sometimes caused by traffic.

I also seen that your wasbite was down earlier today.

Who is hosting your website?

Hey by the way, if you need tech support let me know.. business is realllllyyy slow.. Thanks to Bush.
