Steve, have you spoken with Plame or Wilson about the Edmonds thing? It would be fascinating to "hear" (read) their take.

"A little get away to plan their next Leftist frame"

Man, ya gotta love it when these right wing wackjobs like Houk drop in to deposit these ignorant little oneliners. Meanwhile, after donning the requisite rubber boots ya need to wade around the manure on his blog, you find him gushing forth with his support for Fred Thompson.

Guess what Houk? The United States isn't a set for "Law and Order", and no matter how many red pick-up trucks Thompson uses for props, its becoming increasingly obvious that the American people know the difference between a presidential race and the Emmys.

But just barely.

And BTW, Houk, I love this "McCarthy was right" stuff. I kinda wish you all would get it tattooed on your foreheads, because then I'd know to ignore you before you even opened your mouth.

I'm sure others have asked, but are any of these beautiful pictures you've shared available at the higher resolutions suitable for use as a desktop background?

Posted by Steve Clemons, Jan 14 2008, 10:42AM - Link

Jim -- sometimes I do have better, higher quality versions of the pics and can send to you. I did this with the "mountain goat" a ways back. If you search the site, you can find that one.

I'd be happy to send you the bigger pic of this one out Joe Wilson's window if you like. Just email me at steve@thewashingtonnote.com and will send.

best, Steve Clemons

Peaceful perch from which to contemplate the meaning of all the life altering things which have transpired in their lives.

You can almost smell the pinon.
