Josh Marshall just announced the launch of TPMDC -- another franchise in the growing Talking Points Memo new media empire.
Matt Cooper will be at the helm of the newly launched ship as editor-at-large.

Wow. Did not see this one coming.
Does this mean we will be treated to continual observations about how Mr. Cooper is (i)such(/i) a funny guy--but hear nothing, ever, about how he abetted Karl Rove's leaking -- as an anonymous source, natch--and only testified, recalcitrantly, when Fitzgerald threatened him with jail?
Matt's just hilarious. I call him Matt.
I respect TPM enormously, but it's tough to square the addition of Cooper with any future muckraking. Just sayin'.

How dare his immoral example even garner mention on MLK Jr. day.
