This past week, TWN's Steve Clemons has been in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuxi, and Shenzhen.

Today, we are flying to Tokyo.

Monday will be DC.

Tuesday and Wednesday -- Bonn, Germany.

Thursday and Friday -- Dallas, Texas.

I have a great deal of material to share in the coming days and weeks about observations on the political, economic, environmental, even the religious circumstances in China.

So, stay tuned.

-- Steve Clemons

Steve, are you in Dallas for a public event? If so you should post it!!!

I gotta wonder why Steve is avoiding comment on Netanyahu's "go screw yourself" attitude about Obama's so called demand to stop settlement expansion.

TWN's commentary about the unfolding arrogance of Israel is consigned to a coupla guest bloggers whose essay's were tepid and wishy washy in their "criticism" (if you could call it that) of Israel's stance.

It will be interesting watching Obama fold on this one, derailed by Ross and Clinton. I can't wait to see what his rationale will be to explain his backpedaling. Theres no way he'll stand up to Israel. Ain't gonna happen. Even if he had the balls, Hillary and Ross will figure out some way to neuter him on this issue.

Looking forward to your "great deal of material to share in the coming days and weeks about observations on the political, economic, environmental, even the religious circumstances in China." Please begin with the significance of that monolith or partial monilith that has you and Cao Yang so mesmerized.
