Foreign Embassies in Iran Taking in Injured?

The violence is worsening. There are horrific images of people dying in real time on YouTube video clips. In one, a sniper kills a young woman. I can't watch them anymore and won't post them here.
The Basij are monitoring the hospitals for injured. So many are encouraging wounded protesters to seek out support and help at foreign embassies.
Here is a map of those embassies in Tehran that are reportedly providing shelter and assistance. (though this information has not been confirmed and has already been shown to be at least partly in error)
The Embassies that have been reported via twitter to be standing up thus far and doing the right thing are Australia, Finland, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, Mexico, Portugal, France, Switzerland (which represents the US). Canada is reportedly trying to find doctors to be helpful before opening doors to those who need help.

Steve are you serious? Why aren't Japan, China and Russia on
the list??? China and Russia have major stakes in Iran. They
seem to be doing just fine with the current regime.
Past that do you seriously expect countries to take sides in an
internal dispute? I'm asking in all honesty if embassies routinely
get involved in this sort of thing? Did we do it for those
wounded in the uprising called Tiananmen Square?
I'm all for helping the wounded and for a real "democracy" in
Iran, but, and it's a big but, WW I was a result of great powers
sticking their noses and guns into something, were it not for
really stupid "alliances" that should and could have been
contained.
Given that Iran is pretty close to surrounded by U.S. led chaos/
allies, and how absolutely volatile that situation is on its own,
plus Russia and Chinas' investments in Iran, I would suggest all
"western powers" keep the hell out of this.
Those people protesting in Iran know exactly what risks they are
taking and they should be willing to accept the consequences. I
admire them for their courage, but it's really not my business.
It would seem to me that any sane person would sacrifice a
rather iffy Mousavi victory in Iran to avoid what could possibly
turn into a much wider carnage involving many other countries.
I assume that Russia and China don`t want to see Iran
destabilized (like Pakistan and Iraq), and have calculated that
Ahmedinejad/Khamenei provide order and stability. They may
have miscalculated...
Just a question if it took two too three hours to count the election results last week how come it is now going to take three to four days to count 10% of that election result hmm i smell a fraud. on the subject of Japan there hands are still tied from the 2nd war and as for china and russia they are trading arms with iran need i say more !!!!

Ahmedinejad DOES NOT have any power over anything beyond
domestic issues, and even then the final say is in the mullahs'
hands.
China may have miscalculated, but she holds a damn lot of our
treasury bonds and we, with our economy down the toilet, which
severely curtails our ability or desire to buy Chinese goods, should
not be provoking the Panda Bear.
stevem thanks for the updated post with corrections... you would be doing your readers a service if you highlighted this at the top of your webpage.. this has been a criticism a few of us have leveled at twitter and with you continuing to use twitter as a firing gun for many of your posts the past few days... do a story on it, or put this at the top of your page, as altering here will be missed by those who need to read it the most...

Yes Michele -- that is Neda...but she was shot at this moment...but died in the moments that just followed this depiction.

Those young people are really showing a lot of
courage. And I must say that women are being very
brave in Iran.
I wish we COULD help "kasra in iran".
