June 14 Attack on University of Tehran Students

Share / Recommend - Comment - Print - Thursday, Jun 18 2009, 7:24PM

Along the lines of Iran President Ahmadinejad denying the Holocaust, the Ahmadinejad-appointed president of the University of Tehran stated today that there was no attack on university students and no students killed. Outrageous.

Via Nico Pitney at Huffington Post, a video has now been posted from the beginning of one frightening attack (pasted above).

Here is commentary at The Australian on more horrific attacks and murders at the university.

Steve, please consult a few unbiased Farsi translators before you
pontificate on any of Ahmadinejad's pronouncements. Seems as
though, like the mainstream media, you're relying on Israel-first
outfits like MEMRI (founded by Meyrav Wurmser of "Clean Break"
infamy) and Rita Katz of SITE's tripe for your translations.

Katz is so in the loop that she gets -- GLORY BE -- Bin Laden/
Al Qaeda's statements and purported videos before he releases
them!

The vast majority of Ahmadinejad's statements have been
deliberately mistranslated by dodgy outfits sympathetic to Israel
and then taken as the Holy Scripture, or rather the Talmud, by
the mainstream media.

I didn't think you'd fall for their hasbara (pro-Israel propaganda)
but I guess even knowing every living "VIP" and being seemingly
at the center of every global maelstrom, doesn't guarantee that
one's healthy skepticism remains intact.

Remember Mossadegh, and the Shah, is all I have to say. Oh,
and that other Nationalizer of Oil Fields that Saddam tried to
help us assassinate in Iraq -- what was his name again? Qasim,
that's it.

No, the U.S and Israel NEVER EVER interfere, overtly OR covertly,
in the internal affairs of Middle Eastern countries...

And Mexico, South and Central America? Why, we only ever do
things to them that are good for them. All that U.S. backed
massacre, rape, pillage, and installation of brutal puppet
governments will make them happy in the long run. That's a
promise from Uncle Sam. Same one we made to the Iraqis.

Coups R Us..

Outraged -- you may not be a long time reader of TWN, which is understandable -- but had you been here for a long time, you'd know why Madame Wurmser and MEMRI and I don't cross paths a great deal. You might search the blog under that last name to learn more. All best - -and thanks for the interesting comments...best, steve
