Tomorrow morning, at about 7:15 am EST, I'll be chatting about Hillary Clinton's seven nation tour through Africa on WNYC/National Public Radio's "The Takeaway."

Steve Clemons classes up any show he's on.

"The Takeaway" is usually a terrible show, but Steve, as always, did a great job.

1) Steve praised Hillary Clinton profusely on the radio but when pressed to give her a letter grade, he said she deserves only a "B." I don't necessarily disagree I just wonder why Steve's grade and his comments about her don't seem to coincide.

2) Steve rightly mentioned that there is no head of the Agency for International Development and that no one has been nominated yet. This is one area where there is some distance between Obama and Clinton. Laura Rozen mentioned a few weeks ago on her blog that Clinton has publically criticized the White House for its delay in nominating a person for this important job. The Obama Administration has done a bad job here; AID is important; blogs like The Washington Note should call out Obama for his failure to make a selection.
