Dominique Strauss-Kahn is one of Europe’s premier political operators. Scandals and intrigue seem to add to his mystique, at least when it comes to French politics.
A poll was released today in France indicating that among Democratic Socialists, Strauss-Kahn is favored by 33% of those questioned. Segolene Royal pulled 14%. Bertrand Delanoe 13%. Current party leader Martine Aubry drew just 9%.
Strauss-Kahn now runs the International Monetary Fund for which G-20 nations are scrambling to expand resources. So whereas Strauss-Kahn, recently pilloried for a sex scandal involving a former staff member, came to a position that many people thought would be a dead end with the perceived decline of IMF relevance in a world glut (then) of capital.
Since the global financial crisis, the IMF is back big time — and Strauss-Kahn is surfing the waves of renewed Bretton Woods importance.
But he may just decide to leave DC while he’s ahead and go back to France to challenge Sarkozy in the next presidential elections.
If he does, he should check out the small village of Pomerol near the Medieval town of St. Emilion where I am working for a few days. I am staying at the Chateau Pomeaux and highly recommend the wine from here (great years: 1998, 2000, 2005).

I figured you did, you little “joker” -:). I would have been disappointed otherwise. You see, we’re all on the same page – - – one way or the other.
Enjoyed our back-and-forth, questions. E

Quit being so paranoid and enjoy The Onion. If you’re still uncomfortable, check it out first on wikipedia.
Relax and shalom -:)
Well, thanks for that!
I’ll add it to my list of things to fear! Ominous links in blue pixels. Aaarghhhh!

Thanks for the link, easy e, you made my day. I`ve
actually spent 4 1/2 months in Kigali, eight years
ago, and never thought about this. As a matter of
fact, many people in that formerly francophone
country have French names. Innocence is a very
common name in Rwanda.
Some of them have even given their children the
names of famous French people, like Francois
Mitterand, Valery Giscard d`Èstaing, and Jeanne

Socialites Without Borders, it`s not hard to

Hmmm, if thats the only requirement, then you’re gonna have a hard time keeping my gender out. I could study up and pass that test, by God. And its an effort I’d be crazy not to exert, considering the gender ratio your country will undoubtedly have. Never really saw myself as a Pizza delivery guy, but what the hell, I’ll give it a go.
Outraged American, The fact that you’re getting people on the virtual airwaves to discuss the issues of the day is commendable. Does that give you the right to be insulting and demeaning to others in your pathetic attempts to be funny?
Not a chance.
easy e – your criticism is noted. You’re correct of course – it’s always good to keep your powder dry for those times when its really needed.
Based on her comments, Outraged American appears to suffer from bipolar disorder. The kindest thing would be to stop criticizing her.
Thanks …,
I haven`t yet had time to eat dinner. Just trying
to get in touch with Moses took me more than two
hours – and in vain!
What do you think, should I try Maria Magdalena if
Nebukadnezar says he`s too busy for a radio debate
with Moses?
The discussion has to be in Yiddish – to get the
attention of the Hollywood crowd, you know. Do you
think Magda would be up to the task?

Lighten up, folks (you too, arthurdecco, whose positions I agree with most of the time).
Most of us are on the same page on the important issues, certainly those of us on this thread (haven’t noticed Nadine, Wig Wag or Questions here).
A little tongue & cheek and humor are healthy every now and then. And, yes Paul, I do know about irony.
Also, I’ll take your reference of trying “to persuade
Brad Pitt, the Pope, Noam Chomsky, Fidel Castro,
Madonna and Paul McCartney to publicly warn against
an imminent Israeli attack on Iran. But alas, in
vain…” as an attempt to lighten things up. That’s fine & cute, since I happen to know the media work OA is actually involved in. So, Paul, I’ll ask the same question: what have you done today?
Again, lighten up people. Perhaps it’s time for us all to occasionally get our news from THE ONION NEWS NETWORK, http://www.theonion.com/ .

Suck on that.
Those who can’t do, post.
Ooops,
forgot to mention that I even tried to get in touch
with Moses (yes, THAT Moses). If he`accepted, I
intended to try to arrange a radio debate between
him and Nebukadnezar about the current situation in
the Middle East.
Outraged, do you happen to have the phone numbers
of any of those gentlemen, or their secretaries?
Since 7 AM this morning, I`ve tried to persuade
Brad Pitt, the Pope, Noam Chomsky, Fidel Castro,
Madonna and Paul McCartney to publicly warn against
an imminent Israeli attack on Iran. But alas, in
vain…
Thus I`ll let Outraged do the talking at TWN.
She`s saving us from WWIII for Christ`s sake! She`s
earned the right to have opinions here, even
stupid, bigoted opinions – in contrast to lazy
losers like arthur, …, Dan and me.
“Mealymouthed, nasty broad”? I’m going to scream Anti-Feminism
and demand my own homeland!
I’ll demand my new homeland is placed in Canuckistan, right next
to your house.
Do you cook? Because you’re going to have to cook for me and all
the draft dodgers I’ll be harboring when UsRael attacks Iran.
We’ll all be on the dole anyway. Damn socialist government with
that damn free health care.
Still waiting to hear what you’ve done today.
I’m an equal opportunity insulter.
I’m booking someone, the author of a new book on the topic, to
talk about the Israeli attack on the Liberty.
What have you done today?
Outraged American, are you intentionally trying to piss off ALL Canadians – even those of us who generally support your opinions? Or are you still vainly trying to be funny? Or, is it that you’re simply an equal-opportunity closeted bigot always looking for opportunities to slag everyone other than you and yours in much the same way your usual opponents do?
Trust me, Dotty’s personal opinions aren’t prototypically “Canadian†opinions anymore than mine are or than TWN’s American Zionist-defending Squawkers are representative of the vast swaths of the Middle America I know. So stop using his blather as a starting point for initiating cracks about “Canukistan”. You just come across as another interchangeably ignorant, obnoxious, prototypical loudmouth, more concerned with winning points than providing information and insight into the subjects under discussion.
I hope I’ve made myself clear.
Because if its a war of words you want…I’m quite willing to demonstrate to you that there’s absolutely nothing passive about my aggressiveness when backed up against the wall by a mealymouthed, nasty broad who appears to like nothing better than to score points by tossing out insulting cartoon versions of other peoples as a simple means of reaffirming her high opinion of her own cleverness from within the confines of her own narrow, shuttered mind.
I hope you take my very serious, unfunny response as an opportunity to sit back and Give. It. A. Rest. – as an opportunity to get back to dealing seriously with substantive issues before you lose even more credibility. You’re not really cut out to be “funny in print”, you know, judging by your output over the past week, an output which has been decidedly unfunny to those of us bearing the brunt of your “jokesâ€Â.
Dan Kervick: “I don’t know if I should trust
Albert Einstein, the first author on your list.
“Einstein” is a German-derived Jewish occupational
surname for one who works in stone, which may mean
that Einstein is from the diamond-mongering caste
of the Ashkenazim.
But clearly, the fact that Einstein achieved such
resounding success in physics in 1905 and 1915
proves that Jews were never persecuted in the 20th

easy e: “Of course Einstein is Ashkenazim, as are
virtually all European “Jewsâ€Â, including Herzl and

Ever heard about irony, easy e?
There is an article about that on Wikipedia – well
worth exploring!
You got tipped well because fire water is so expensive in
Canukistan. The Canucks figured they were getting a deal. $80
dollars for a Bud, sure, eh?
Plus it’s also part of their passive – aggressiveness — Canadians
feel that they need to pay people to like them.
Which they do.
I live in Snowbird town — in the winter 100-year-old
Canadians careen around here pretending they know how to
drive.
Same with the Mexicans.
I have an idea: we erase the US and just let the Canadians and
Mexicans have at it.
That way we get rid of UsRael and our nukes, the Canucks and
the Skins will find common ground, which they already have in
Phoenix, and peace with reign.
At least till the Injuns and the Pakistanis start their next fight.
poa quote “… Do me a favor. Ignore me too, will ya?”
poa – like you do with me? lol
“POA, I think that … is only angry because I said that Canucks were only funny when they’re drunk”
Well, speaking for myself, when I bartended a certain little tavern in Coeur d’Alene Idaho, I LOVED it when the Canadians came to town for the annual bagpipers extravaganza. Those people REALLY know how to tip! I’d make more in one night of serving the Canadians than I would make in a week of serving the locals.
…
Do me a favor. Ignore me too, will ya?
lol, glad to given all the attention and give you folks a break from the ‘lets bash israel/zionism’ bandwagon that ya’ll love riding.. talk about offering some original insights.. you guys crack me up! ps – oa, i enjoyed your little rant on your different nationality take… thought it was quite infantile, so i enjoyed it..

Hey …, I just got Cindy Sheehan on the show I’m helping book.
What have you done today, …?
BTW: you brought up the same point yourself about Strauss-
Kahn.
I’ll let you know the details, but Sheehan should be on Saturday.
It’s a call-in during which she’ll talk about how the Dems are as
pro-war as the GOP, and her vigil in Martha’s Vineyard.
Again, what did you do today, …?
There’s a saying here in the United States of the Insane,”Sh*t or
get off the pot.”
I have spent almost five years getting experts to try to talk
sense into Middle America. What have you done?
Dotty,(…) You claim you ignore Outraged American’s opinion and anyone else’s if it doesn’t “grab you in the first few sentences”. And then you go on to display an intimate knowledge of her previous postings… In my opinion, that’s a foolish method of building credibility.
I read every word of every post here at TWN – even posts submitted by those I believe to be dangerous, traitorous dissemblers – like those from Wig Wag and the rest of the ratpack I consider a 5th column threat to my real-time real-world because of their blind devotion to a sect of egomaniacal, batshit Crazies with nuclear weapons and the moral depravity required to shoot them at people knowing in advance what will happen.
Why do I read every word of every post? Because despite the fact I almost always know in advance what the general tone of each individual’s submissions will be, I almost never know what they’re going to say or how they’re going to say it. Or, for that matter, spin it.
Besides, many of the posters here, from all sides of the issues raised, whether I agree with them or not, are intelligent, well-read and passionate in defense of what they believe. That’s worth reading, even if it does lead to grinding my teeth in my sleep occasionally. LOL
I even read your posts carefully despite being unable to remember the last time you had anything original or especially insightful to say. …Because you never know…
Something else to consider – Bandwagon-Jumping is never going to be an Olympic-style sport for you. Especially since you’re always forced to participate without being able to see over the heads and shoulders of those who lead the attacks you join in on.
Perky and Shallow’s best, don’t you think? I recommend you stick with what works best for you.
outraged american, perhaps you can start a blog, or steve could let you to a post periodically… i find you a one trick pony myself and tend to skip your posts, as i feel you repeat yourself too often. you have to grab me with something different in the first few sentences to hold my attention and it hasn’t been happening.. continue to post and i will continue to pass over your comments most of the time..
Paul & Dan, in the run-up to both the bombing of Afghanistan
and Iraq I gnashed my teeth and attended antiwar rallies. I
called and hounded the press in LA until they got camera crews
to those rallies.
And then I quit a very glamorous life (though not entirely – my
spouse still works in the industry) to work for less than nothing
in independent media, because it was my responsibility as an
American to stop the madness and the slaughter.
This is my release. It’s the only message board I post on. I
simplify things because they’re too complex to type about.
Because at this stage, after giving-up more than four years of
my life in an attempt to stop WW III and restore the Bill of Rights,
I’ve realized that we are all subject to the power of nefarious
forces that we have no chance of defeating.
Almost guaranteed Israel will do a false flag attack that will be
used as an excuse to bomb Iran.
Look at the legislation that Congressman Sherman and Senator
Bayh were trying to pass last year. A blockade of Iran, which
would be considered an act of war. And if Iran reacted, which
any country would want to, then BOOM.
Is Israel worth WW III? No.
Will Israel cause WW III? I’d give it a 50% chance.
Although wiser heads might prevail. I think Obama has the
Zionists’ number, maybe because he has one as Chief-of-Staff.
Footage of Israel’s latest atrocity in Gaza was beamed all over
the world. The only people who didn’t see it were the people
who paid for it, the US of Ans. We’re shmucks.
That’s Yiddish. I speak it fluently like everyone else who’s ever
worked in the film industry.
The Zionists, like Abe Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League,
run around conflating Israel with all Jews. So when the world
sees pictures of little dead Palestinian or Lebanese babies,
massacred by UsRael bombs, they blame the Jews.
Zionism is not good for the Jews. It’s the worst thing that’s
happened to them since the Jewish Holocaust.
BTW: the only reason I mentioned the whole Kahn / Cohen thing
is that all three presidential candidates have the same name. It
wasn’t meant as anything except what a weird coincidence.
Cohen is the priestly caste of Judaism. I was told that by a friend
who was a Cohen herself. Look it up. What’s “anti-Jew” about
remarking on that?

“…I don’t know if I should trust Albert Einstein, the first author on your list. “Einstein” is a German-derived Jewish occupational surname for one who works in stone, which may mean that Einstein is from the diamond-mongering caste of the Ashkenazim…â€Â
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Isn’t that part of the problem (even though recent comments here have been a little off topic regarding Strauss-Kahn)?
Of course Einstein is Ashkenazim, as are virtually all European “Jewsâ€Â, including Herzl and the Zionist fanatics that stole Palestine from the true Semitic inhabitants (the Zionist movement, as you know, started well before WWII and the holocaust). All the more reason a ONE STATE solution should be considered as a viable option: a democratic state consisting primarily of indigenous Semites regardless of religion – - – i.e. Palestinian Arabs & Christians, as well as Sephardic Sabra Jews with real roots to that region.
The Ashkenazim (amongst the victims of WWII), as you know, are not Semites. They originated in the Turkish/Caucasus region of Asia from the Khazar tribes and migrated throughout Europe. Perhaps an Ashkenazim homeland should have been located somewhere in the old Khazar region – - – possibly along with Kurdistan (to the certain dismay of Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Syria, etc.).
Sadly, the criminal actions of Israel, and the support thereof by Diaspora Jews throughout the globe, are setting the stage for a new wave of anti-Jew sentiment. Hopefully this will be stemmed by progressive Jewish movements such as J Street.
The issue of UsRael/Israel/Zionism continues to be raised on the TWN forum because, unfortunately, it REALLY IS at the crux of global geopolitical and foreign policy matters – - – certainly as it pertains to the U.S. (and our 51st state -:?).
The Washington noise machine is silent. Our guy must have “won” in Afghanistan.
Three cheers for Democracy (TM), now firmly entrenched in Afghanistan due to Washington’s noble efforts.

It will be fine in Afghanistan, but a major no, no in Iran.
Afghan challenger alleges fraud
The main challenger in presidential elections held in Afghanistan last week, Abdullah Abdullah, has alleged widespread fraud.
Mr Abdullah said he had evidence that voting had been widely rigged in favour of incumbent President Hamid Karzai.
The allegations had been sent to the Electoral Complaints Commission (ECC) for investigation, he said.
A leading group of election observers has also said intimidation and voting fraud occurred in Thursday’s poll.
The campaign teams for Mr Karzai and Mr Abdullah – a former foreign minister – each claim their candidate won an outright majority.
“I have four children in my family nearing draft age. I have no desire to see their incinerated corpses.”
Well there is something we can agree on Outraged American. My son, and only child, just started college this weekend. That’s probably the reason I respond so emotionally to the kind of useful idiocy that weakens and discredits the effort to halt Israeli expansion and aggression, and build Middle East peace and security.
Now I’ll just shut up and let this comment section return to the more relevant subjects of IMF reform and French presidential politics.
Outraged,
perhaps you`ve done great work on TV and radio.
We were just commenting on your written comments
at TWN.
“Zionists want Jews to be hated to drive them back
to Israel.”
Do you regard the bombing of Lebanon and Gaza, the
settlements, the abuse of Palestinians, the
election of Lieberman as Foreign Minister etc as
some kind of tactics to attract Jews in the
Diaspora?”
Would you think that Domenique Strauss-Kahn, John
Kerry and Wesley Clark are tempted by these
tactics?
“Again, what have you done?”
Not much, I`m afraid. Never downgraded from the
entertainment industry. Never even made any
attempt to upgrade to the entertainment industry.
Thus no big surprises in salaries in any
direction.
I was an independent TV and radio news producer for more than
four years and still do some radio.
I have interviewed, or arranged for the interviews of Pappe, Judt,
Halper, Abunimah, Walt, Mearsheimer, Grant Smith on AIPAC,
Jeff Gates on the Israel lobby, Zunes, Giraldi, Weir, Findley, Tariq
Ali, Dreyfuss, Sheehan,Benjamin, Bamford, the Christisons,
Kwiatkowski, Ambassador Ed Peck, McKinney, Paul, etc., and ad
nauseam.
What have you guys done? ‘Cause I sure as hell took a huge pay
cut leaving the entertainment industry to try to educate
Americans about US foreign policy, as well as domestic issues,
such as FISA.
Zionism premise is that Jews in the diaspora will always be
persecuted so a Jewish state must exist.
My premise, and I hate pseudo intellectual nattering on, is that
Jews in the diaspora are doing just fine as evidenced by this
man, John Kerry and Wesley Clark. Three presidential
candidates!
Israel wants us to help her attack Iran. I’ve interviewed plenty of
experts on that topic as well, including scientists and military
planners (Sam Gardner and Trita Parsi spring immediately to
mind). To call such an attack a “disaster” would be like calling
Iraq a “border skirmish.”
Last year I joined a broad transpartisan coalition to stop an
attack, blockade and/or more sanctions on Iran.
http://www.nysun.com/national/group-forms-to-head-off-
war-on-iran/79667/
Again, what have you done?
Should Iran be attacked by UsRael a draft would have to be
reinstated. I’ve interviewed experts on that as well.
I have four children in my family nearing draft age. I have no
desire to see their incinerated corpses, nor do I have a desire to
see the incinerated corpses of Iranian children.
And in my line of work I saw pictures of the incinerated corpses
of a lot of children. Personally, I would rather watch children
play dodge ball than dodge bomb.
Therefore, I am against Israel’s action (and I’ve covered Gaza/
the West Bank extensively, plus Israel’s 2006 invasion of
Lebanon) and think that rather than have this apartheid, rogue
nation, found as a “Jewish” state, there needs to be one state
and it needs to be disarmed.
This goes back to my point: Jews are doing fine in their diaspora
so no longer need a Jewish state. This man is a case in point.
My other point is that when Zionists conflate Israel’s actions with
all Jews they are creating hatred of all Jews. This does not need
to happen and if I were Jewish I would resent it. I think, and
again I’ve done a lot of work on this topic, that this is deliberate.
Zionists want Jews to be hated to drive them back to Israel.
I’m an Anglo-India; the Brits, who treated us like crap, despite
that we built and ran India’s infrastructure, promised us a state
when they were on their way out.
Did we get it? Hell no. We got nothing: only a % of us even got
passports. But Anglo-Indians who got out are doing just fine in
our own diaspora. As my Dad would say, “Quit your whinging
and get on with it.”
Dan said it in much fewer words, which I realized
after posting my comment.
As I`ve said before, Outraged, we both have a habit
of writing too many words!
Sorry, Outraged American and easy e,
but I would be surprised if Outraged`s support of
a one state solution as such had anything to do
with Dan Kervick`s outburst.
Outraged delivered a highly off topic text with
several incoherent elements. I`m not absolutely
sure what Kervick referred to, but it`s not hard
to guess. To me the central point in Outraged`s
comment was:
“Strauss-Kahn, yet more proof that Jews are doing
fine in the Jewish diaspora. (…) And Kahn is one
version of Cohen, the priestly caste of Ashkenazi
Jews. John Kerry’s dad and Wesley Clark are all
Cohens with different spellings.
Do those two look like they’re being persecuted
for being Jews to you?”
———————————
As if the secure well being of these three elite
Jewish gentlemen: Strauss-Kahn, Kerry and Clark
proves anything with regards to the condition of
Jews in the Diaspora? It`s nothing more than an
echo of the good old nasty European anti-semitism:
the Jews all over the world are wealthy and
powerful and well connected, so why are they
whining? This was exactly the main argument that
for centuries legitimated the persecution of Jews
in the Diaspora. Will you ever get it?
And then Outraged proceeds, using this “fact” as
an argument for the Zionists to shut the fuck up,
even as an argument for a One State Solution.
Frankly, it`s the worst argument I`ve ever seen on
a PC-screen.
Sorry Outraged, I`m sure you`re a nice fellow, but
this is as stupid as it can get. I assume that
your recent suggestions to nuke the Australians
and the Canadians were intended as some kind of
joke. But I somehow doubt that your post above was
intended as a joke. If your voice was dominant at
TWN, Nadine, WigWag, Questions and others would be
correct when they claim that TWN is dominated by a
bunch of anti-semites – this time not from the
fascist right, but from the left.
I would encourage you to think twice before you
write – especially about what unfortunately
happens to be your favorite topic here. Most of
the time, your comments about Israel, Jews and the
Middle East are frankly disastrous.
But I would recommend you to think twice ALWAYS
before you write – even when you write about
Australians and Canadians! Believe me, it`s not
getting a warm reception.
Take care in the Arizonian heat!
Sure easy e. Interesting link and interesting articles. My only question is what any of this has to do with Dominique Strauss-Kahn.
I don’t know if I should trust Albert Einstein, the first author on your list. “Einstein” is a German-derived Jewish occupational surname for one who works in stone, which may mean that Einstein is from the diamond-mongering caste of the Ashkenazim.
But clearly, the fact that Einstein achieved such resounding success in physics in 1905 and 1915 proves that Jews were never persecuted in the 20th century.
easy e – i tend to agree with dan..

A little harsh response here, Dan. I don’t pretend to be an expert here but, in view of history and certainly the Middle-East dynamics, it’s time for us to be open to other options that may be more pragmatic – - – including the ONE STATE solution.

It’s interesting that when Paul Wolfowitz showed favoritism to his lover at the World Bank he was fired but when Strauss-Kahn had an affair with a subordinate he wasn’t.
But hypocricsy aside Strauss-Kahn’s extramarital affair won’t disqualify him from running for President of France, it’s practically a credential.
Francois Mitterand had numerous extramarital affairs and had a dsughter, Mazarine, with his mistress Anne Pingeot.
Of course, President Sarkozy’s second wife Cecilia dumped him after his affair with Carla Bruni became public. Bruni is now Sarkozy’s third wife.
It is widely reported that Jaques Chirac also had several affairs although who would have him remains a mystery.
Of course neither Strauss-Kahn (a future President?), Sarkozy, Chirac, Mitterand or Giscard d’Estaing (also well known for his galavanting) can top the performance of the French President in 1899, Félix Faure. He died during oral sex with his mistress at the Elysées.
For more on French Presidents and their sex lives, see “Why the French aren’t shocked by the affairs of Jacques the lad” (Agnès Poirier The Guardian, Wednesday 14 February 2007).
If the head of the IMF runs for President of France on the Socialist ticket, it would signify nothing less than the absolute corruption of the French Socialist Party. What next? The President of Goldman Sachs running as a communist?
No wonder the Socialist Party has trouble attracting leftist voters!
I would be interested to know how Mr. Strauss-Kahn compares to the last two Managing Directors from France, Jacques de Larosière and Michel Camdessus.
I know that Camadessus was intensely disliked in many developing nations for insisting that they adopt harsh austerity programs in return for loans. I also remember quite well that Joe Stiglitz who was a World Bank official at the time harshly criticized the IMF and its leadership under Camadessus. Former World Bank President, James Wolfensohn was also critical but more diplomatic about it. And I know that George Soros was particularly disdainful of the role of the IMF from the mid 1970s to the end of the century.
By tradition, an American always holds the title of President of the World Bank and a European is always Managing Director of the IMF.
My impression is that the World Bank has always been slightly more progressive in its lending policies than the IMF. I could be wrong, but I believe that even during the scandal plagued tenure of Bush appointee Paul Wolfowitz that the World Bank had a better reputation in developing nations than the IMF.
Does anyone know if Strauss-Kahn is continuing the legacy of his predecessors or whether he has helped the organization turn over a new leaf?
Outraged American: What the fuck are you rambling about? Seriously. The above has to be one of the most knee-jerkingly moronic comments that has ever appeared on this site.
Strauss-Kahn, yet more proof that Jews are doing fine in the
Jewish diaspora. From his wiki entry:
Dominique Strauss-Kahn was born on 25 April 1949 to a Jewish
family from mixed Askhenazi and Sephardi origins,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominique_Strauss-Kahn
And Kahn is one version of Cohen, the priestly caste of
Ashkenazi Jews. John Kerry’s dad and Wesley Clark are all
Cohens with different spellings.
Do those two look like they’re being persecuted for being Jews to
you?
The Zionists need to STFU and realize that Israel must get along
with her neighbors, get her operatives out of US foreign policy,
stop sucking US tax dollars, and stop her apartheid regime.
ONE STATE. The IMF is a bunch of bull, read “Confessions of an
Economic Hit Man.”
St. Emilion is a family favorite; we served it at our wedding and

it at a heavy discount — 2005, though!). Pomerol is more of a
special treat.
thanks steve… always interesting.. i like that imf involvement.. says a lot!
>>Dominique Strauss-Kahn was born on 25 April 1949 to a Jewish family from mixed Askhenazi and Sephardi origins, in the wealthy Paris suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine. He spent part of his childhood in Agadir, Morocco, which he left after the 1960 earthquake to go to Monaco.
In high school, he earned top grades and entered the prestigious school Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) and then studied political science at Sciences Po Paris. Furthermore, he obtained a degree in public law, as well as a Ph.D and an agrégation in economics.<<
Steve,
It is really impressive how substantially you have widened your
foreign policy wings. Keep up the great work and thanks for these
reports from your travels.
